Provence summer is traditionnally rich in cultural events like festival d'Avignon and Chorégies d'Orange in July

But on a smaller scale you can also find great fun in the village fetes that take place most week ends. In Cairanne it matches the date where we also celebrate wine during the fête des vignerons de Cairanne that take place the last sunday of July.

Even though we are busy partying in the summer, there is no rest during less busy times. Rencontres gourmandes and the festival des soupes during october are the best expressions of how much food and wine is important here. Avignon transforms itsemf in November during the christmas market which is also a good excuse to celebrate the vintages  with Millévin.
